Joseph J. Duffy announces new project- Hope Manor III

Joseph J. Duffy Co., is proud to announce to be the negotiated general contractor for Hope Manor III. Hope Manor III is the third supportive housing development in the U.S. designed specifically for Veterans with special needs and their families. Hope Manor III follows the Hope Manor I & II also built by Joseph J. Duffy Co. for Volunteers of America (VOA). VOA helps Veterans change and improve their lives by promoting self-sufficiency, building new skills, creating strong support and helping them to take part into the community. Hope Manor III will have 67 units in a campus like setting consisting of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments in multiples of 3 story building. The building will be built around a park and will include playground facilities for the children. The wood frame building will be built on 3+ acres of land that was part of the former Silver Cross Hospital. The client for this project is Volunteers of America Illinois and the architect for this project is Worn Jerabek Wiltse  Architects, P.C.
