Duffy Continues Safety Education Program

Duffy Continues Safety Education Program

19-Jul-2018

Duffy’s commitment to safety is legendary. For decades, we continually update all levels of management, highlighting new techniques and legal requirements for job safety through educational seminars.

This year, programs presented include “Overview of OSHA’s Silica Standard”, a “Discussion on the Exposure Control Plan,” and the “OSHA 30-Hour Training Seminar.” In addition, “Electrical Hazards in Constructions,” an OSHA grant-funded safety-training program was covered.

Attendees also studied the “Excavation Competent Person.” This training course highlights safety for concrete workers and supervisors in and around excavations. Always important, a “Crane Signal Class” was also presented. All of these trainings serve as refresher courses for our seasoned personnel as well as continuing education for our newer staff.

Those attending these classes included Jose Flores, Nick Kasmar, Mario DeCicco, Ronn Ammons, Charlie Norgren, Doug Karcavich, Nick Wiedl, Don Morales, Diego Labycz and Jerry DeCicco.
