Brainerd Park Apartments Receives LEED Gold Certification

Good things have happened on our Brainerd Park project.  On September 28, 2018, Full Circle Communities’ 36 unit Brainerd Park Apartments was dedicated, providing 36 affordable apartments for families; built by Safeway-JJ Duffy Joint Venture.  In December, 2018, the U.S. Green Building Council awarded the LEED Gold Certification to Full Circle Communities for the Brainerd Park Apartments located at 8920 South Loomis, identifying this project as a “showcase example of sustainability and demonstrates your leadership in transforming the building industry.”  Of course, JJ Duffy Co. is proud to be a part of this honor, serving as General Contractor. Brainerd Park is the 2nd project Duffy has built for Full Circle Communities.  In addition to the Milwaukee Avenue Apartments in Chicago completed 3 years ago, we are looking forward to working with Full Circle Communities in the future to provide quality affordable housing.
