The 3 story, 67 unit wood framed multi-family development covers three acres. It is comprised of a main building that contains 32 units plus support service space, as well as three 12-unit buildings offering one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The buildings surround a central park with playground facilities. The first floor of the main building houses offices and supportive services, such as case management, support groups, business support and training. It is the latest project completed by Joseph J. Duffy Co. for Volunteers of America Illinois and is the first of its kind in Will County. Hope Manor Joliet follows Hope Manor I and II, other veteran-related projects built by Duffy for VOA Illinois.
